Sioux Falls Marathon Completes Another Successful Year
09/10/17- The 2017 Sioux Falls Marathon boasted the highest turnout in it’s history. The runners got off to a late start after delay due to lighting, but that did not stop the over 3,000 runners from six countries, 40 states, and 650 cities.
This years race started and ended at the Denny Sanford Premier Center for the first time in it’s history. Registration had to be closed leading up to the event to ensure the new venue would accommodate the number.
Last year’s Sioux Falls Marathon raised over $23,500 for the Children’s Miracle Network.
The Sioux Falls Marathon is put on by the Sioux Falls Sports Authority, of which Curt has been a board member for the past 4 years.
